I came to Hlint and met some people. First was Aly (guy in black), then Nyyana (cute elf with a bow), Charlotte, Haugrim, Celith (a fellow with a bow), Ranewin (The Lady's priestess), Winde, Auuumi (lovely sea elf, she's very pretty but hard to talk to) and others.
I even met a strange woman that carried flowers from the Tower of Ilsare, I would have been more impressed if not for her dark clothing and wierd ways. Perhaps that is how Calise heads the temple in Hlint, strange to me but perhaps it's their way.
Hlint is a pleasant place but I couldn't resist coming back to Krandor and sitting with my friends.
I searched for Freldo and found him in Leilon at an Inn, as the pretty acolyte at the shrine told me, he was covered in corn meal when he answered the door, he gave me some food and wine and told me a few things about the region and spoke highly of a great many people.
He said to not adventure by myself - ok.
He said to buy potions of healing - not ok, I'm not rich.
He said to talk to a big guy Cronk for a better bow - ok, I just sent him a bird.
He said to talk with Ranewin, Lark or Lady Reventage for guidance - not ok yet.
He said to talk with everybody in the hope that they have odd jobs for me - ok, doing that.
The most important thing he said was to make friends but keep them distant. I didn't understand that, he seemed pretty popular in the shrine and close to people.
Well, I've decided to give up on learning the arcane, now I focus on the bow and arrow. I want a few more spells but I can live without them for now.
