a bad safe

Location: The Orc Basher Shop @ 163 Port Hempstead

Bug Description: The safe placeable in the shop does not hold anything past a server reset. Everything goes poof that is put into it

Reproduceable: Yep..i have placed 10 coins in it and waited for a server reset a couple of times to confiirm it doesnt work.

Please fix when you get a chance. :D

I'm sorry, but there's not really much to "fix" in this case.

The safe is not the result of a housing placeable deed; it is permanently placed in the area and is therefore not persistent or suitable for storage.  As a general rule of policy, we don't allow any custom objects in housing and guild halls due to problems we've had in the past, so we won't be turning it into a means of persistent storage.  You can use housing crates/chests for this purpose.

Best we will do is to make it a static (non usable) prop so that it's not confusing later on, but that's as far as we'll go.

That's fine.  I don't know who placed it there for starters, but it should have been made static to prevent use.  We'll try and adjust that next time.  Make sure everyone knows not to use it, however.

Safe is now a static object and just for decoration.  Fixed in the next update.
