Skald Make Them Bleed
« on: October 21, 2009, 10:25:20 pm »
Description: When using Make Them Bleed while invisible it is ordinary for a Skald to need to move from the point of origin to avoid being hit. However, after one of the spawns is killed by Bleed, all the others can suddenly see the Skald. Skald is still invisible, but now all the spawns in the area rush towards him no matter where he moves.

Location: Most spawns, but reproduced in the Forest of Fog

 Verified: TBD

 Reproducable: Yes

Typically happens when one causes a monster death within the range of the other monsters.  If a fighter kills a monster within a certain radius of the monster's allies, the other monsters will be alerted by the death scream and chase the one who killed their friend around corners regardless of not having line of sight of the killing.  I suspect this is hardcoded into Bioware and there's little the team could do on our end of coding this not to happen.

Oh hmm...it should definitely cancel invisibility, G.Sanc and stealth, if active, since it's a blatantly hostile action.

Indeed, that part could be fixed.  Something making enough damage to hurt you with sonic waves ought to be immediately detectable. ;)

Ok, that makes sense. Thanks.

BTW, they do immediately detect you regardless if you are invisible or not. You just have to move fairly quickly to avoid their hits. Flynn has died many times trying to quickly move from the point of origin.

nope, they would see you automatically, cancelling the spell completely.

Invisibility is always canceled as far as I can tell with any offensive action.
