No gravestone upon porting

Bug Report

Description: This was the second time it happened, and when I died, a grave stone was not erected. First was in Dapplegreen and the second was in the Red Light Goblin caverns wherein I lost a soul strand as well . My friend said that I should post a bug report on it seeing that it might be a corrupted character file, and so here I am.

Location: Red Light Goblin Caverns

What probably happened is that you died before those two times and instead of going to your grave, you reflected, while being on the other server?

If that happens, I think the old gravemarker location will not be cleared, so if you die afterwards, a new gravemarker wont appear because there already is one present. This would last until the specific server gets a reset. You can check this by using any bindstone to find out the location of your marker.

It could also be perhaps that there was a mishap when you finished reflecting, even though you were on the same server.

At any rate, best first step is to check with the bindstone. If what I mentioned isn't the case, definitely post here again.

Yeah, I checked it and the bindstone said that the gravestone is non existent do you need screenies? im not quite sure how this is happening to me because the first time i died i managed to pray on my grave and then on the second time there was no grave so i waited it out, and then this happened

The database does not indicate any gravestone for your character.  I'm assuming you did not choose the option to port immediately back to your grave site?

The next time this happens, please post immediately with as precise a location as you can so I can check the database quickly.

oh i did choose, gah i should have taken a screenie of my character on the sight. because two of us died, and when i got there my friend's gravestone was the only one there plus some person's who died before. to my shock it wasn't there

edit: I just waited it out and if i die again (hoping I dont) and if it still persists ill post another thread with screenshots

If you chose that option, then yeah, it destroys your gravestone.  On your next death (and please don't go out of your way for that), try not choosing the return option and make sure (if possible) the stone is present.
