Battlehelm moors

I went there with a group.
When loading the area my computer crashed. I tried to log in several time but without luck.
The rest of the group could easily move around there with no problem.

I then got help from Arbiter and Filatus...
I tried to change the graphic - didnt work.

In the end Filatus ported me out of the area (which was the final solution), but of course this does not solve the problem. Others could end up in the same situation...

I have no idea what may be wrong... but I will not enter that area for a while...
Just a small thing to add to your list...

I second the constant crashing. Myself...Sala Stonehill...Jako Stonehill...Sallaron Tempest..and Godim Harajima(?)...all crashed multiple times in the Battlehelm Moors. Turning off shiney water hasn't helped.

Not sure how to fix this problem as it seems to be a video driver problem. Sorry, I just don't know how to go about fixing this one.

I think the problem with this area is when you have spell gfx going on.  I went in there with Zup and Beasty, most we have is barkskin and we have no problems.

I go in there with my wizard buffed up and I keep contantly crashing while Beasty with no buffs doesnt crash at all.

I'm not certain... I know my friend Hrothgar went in and crashed over and over until he switched computers.

I think it has something to do with the graphics card you have.

And see that's the weird thing...I have an Nvidia 7600 and my son has ....the Nvidia 5600 as I remember.  Latest drivers and everything too.  But my rogue has no probs but my Wizard does.  Only other thing different was my rogue went when it was night and my Wiz in the daylight.

Heres something im interested on (might contribute to solving the problem)

Do you guys crash in the swamps near Hlint? (forgot the new name)... If you do then its the tileset duh, if not I think its the water placeables in the Battlehelm Moors.

I have been in the Black Dog Moors several times and never crashed or even had a bad frame rate.

Then (in my opinion at least) it has to be the water placeables.

Alrighty. I have adjusted all of the battlehelm moors areas. No more low lying water, no more vfx or anything like that. I also removed some of the placeables here and there. That means it doesn't look as nice but hopefully it is less "crashy".

If the problem persists we need a new bug report and hopefully only one thread this time. :)
