I can understand that pawn shops run out of money. I understand that the world is starving and people are not very well off. I just traveled all of what I know of Dregar and found every pawnshop out of money. With the way the drops are now to get money you either need to sell the stuff you find to a PC, or sell it to the pawn shop. I personally do not have time to find a buyer and sell stuff. That's why I use the pawn shops and sell it at a very low price.

With the last reset of the west server. Port Hempstead pawn shop was out of money in less then 24 RL hours.

Now I think this an over flow problem from the new drop system that is in place. The system now drops more items then gold. If I'm wrong and it is intentional. Please let me know.

Agreed. I can't even find a pawnshop ANYWHERE that still has gold after perhaps an hour or two after the reboot. Please monitor the pawnshops to make certain there's not some spoofing/duplication scheme at large like back when people were making 300k at lvl 8 reselling creature cards. Drop surplus is drop surplus, but I really haven't had this bad a time trying to find an open pawn shop since the few hours before we last did the housing inventory wipe.

Something's very fishy about these chronically out-of-gold pawnshops, and I suspect somebody less-than-honorable is exploiting them somehow.

You know there's a third option: Trash the drops, which we have already said are in error.

The other dynamic is that pawns pay better now, though we didn't give them any more gold than they had before.

indeed my highest is level 6 and i usually have to walk to either Llast or Hlint to sell drops... because Hempstead and Vehl are usually out of cash... not really a problem until ALL the pawnshops are out of cash... just more of... out of the way to walk for some coin

There is even a fourth option: donate your stuff
a) to your temples (that is what I do)
b) to charities

I'm not sure that it's feasible, but it would be nice if pawn shops got an amount to spend every 15 RL hours or so. That way, more people in more time zones would have a chance to pawn things.
