Title: No longer receiving emails when new PMs arrive

For the past couple of weeks, I am no longer receiving emails when a new PM arrives.

I must say I rely heavily on this for my PM management, so often they sit there for a few days.

I checked my profile and I do have "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages   " ticked.
I also have the box for pop ups ticked for when messages arrive when I am on the forums, which does work properly.

Any ideas? I did not change my email address, and they are not in a Spam/Junk folder either.

Huh, what email service provider are you using, and are you using a mail client (like Outlook or Thunderbird) to manage it?

This is ironic because a friend of mine was having trouble receiving the confirmation Email for new members.  Could this be related?

I haven't changed anything on my end since the moment these forums went live many years ago.

same ISP, same outlook, same email address...

Maybe try going into My Account, Profile and editing your email and password...might jump start it  :D

I believe the email sending problem with the forums is fixed. LORE next.

LORE should be good too though my password reset Ed ails got sent to spam, they did get sent though!

Saw I had this thread for the old forums, but now I have the same problem on the new!

 

Even thought I have ticked the box in my account settings that I want an email whenever I have a new private message, I am not getting them.

This in contrast to other notification emails for forums I have subscribed to. I do get those kinds of notifications via email.

So something's off, but I don't know what :( Any ideas?
