Please correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't humans supposed to get the Skilled feat and get one extra skill point at creation and at level up? My character is human but I don't see Skilled listed in his feats. I'd hate to think I missed several extra skill points.
-
hmm, only at level 1.
So says your NWN-Handbook
-
It's actually named 'Quick to master', not Skilled. And yeah, humans do get one extra skill point per level.
-
*smacks forehead* you're right Flame :)
next time I should read all lines in the NWN-Handbook ;)
-
*grins* It's not like i read the whole nwn handbook, i just used to test a lot of builds and eventually memorized some stuff. ;)

It's a feat in NWN, but in PnP, it's simply a racial ability. NWN has to represent nearly all abilities mechanically as a feat.

And thus the reason for my post. Quick to Master (1 extra feat at creation) appears in my list of feats but there is no feat listed that describes the extra skill point.
Nevertheless, I have confirmed that I am getting the extra skill point at level up.

No, it is called skilled. Quick to master gives you an extra feat at first level.
Humans do indeed get these skillpoint. It is not broken.

That means that a 7th level Human Rogue with an INT of 14 should have a total of 110 ranks (or half-ranks, for cross-class skills). Be assured, I've got my calculator ready, and I'll check it. xD
That's assuming I remember correctly that starting skill points for a human rogue is 4(8+INT+1), and 8+INT+1 every level thereafter. (For a total of {LVL+3}{8+INT+1} skill points. Can you tell I've had some experience building high-level characters? I happen to enjoy making my recurring NPCs.)
