If you've never heard of them, that's okay, both in and out of character. For the OOC part, try looking at the original announcement
here for the general idea that was behind it being started up. A lot of things have changed since then, but the premise is basically the same - you want to go somewhere, or see something, that you either are not quite able to do on your own, or don't know the history of, or you just want to go with someone who has been around a time or two to show you about ...you grab a guide. We're not going to mine for you, or kite you through a place for XP - but hopefully somebody can show you a good time in either a place you've never been before, or just maybe an old place made to feel a bit newer. And remember that the questions unasked are almost always left unanswered. My inbox is always open, too.
If you were previously (or currently for that matter) one of the Stormcrest guides and want to give it another shot... feel free. No one's permissions have changed, you still have the lantern (if you don't and are on the original list, it's still yours to ask for) - go for it. Consider though, if you've been inactive or away from the world awhile, devoting some time to getting back into touch with the place. Part of the idea with the guides is to be able to offer some amount of atmosphere or information along with the trip, so maybe poke around a bit here and there... or else find yourself out-guided by those you're trying to show around.
As for in-character questions - feel free to ask those, too. You can leave requests on the first linked thread, or PM me and someone will try to be found for you... fair warning that for at least a short time, that will probably end up being me.
Time zone is a useful bit of information as well, which I forgot to mention originally, heh. There will be some more events in the future, and yes, she/we/they will be looking to recruit, but all things at a pace for now.
