Music suggestion

I know that suggestions have to go under the suggestions forum, but I figured that it will get more readers here and that people might benefit from it even if the sugestion never ends up in Layonara.

Now the proposal, even with some additions made to the Layonara music folder, we have still heard it many many times and it is bound to become annoying. The same thing happens to all games that are very replayable. I found the following link on another forum. This site http://www.knights-of-honor.net/ has free medieval music to offer under the downloads/music.

Give it a go and comment with what you think. Personally I would like to see it added to Layonara, it has a great feel to it :)

From what L said to me before, we are not suppose to use copyrighted music

So I am not sure about this one...

EDIT: But the musics are awesome!

well, the music sounds amazing, but how Milo already said, there is still a copyright on the music. And in this case Layonara has not the copyright for this music I guess.

I didn't see anything regarding copyrights on that page, I could have missed it though. Nevertheless, I think we are using Baldur's Gate or Planescape music, don't these have copyrights...once again I could be wrong, since I don't know much about the issue.

*thinks a bit* hey, we simply could ask them if we can use them for this server? But before asking them I would discuss this with L first. Just a thought of mine *shrugs*

I imagine we have a few people in our community that have the ability and skill to compose .and perform music like this. But using copyrighted Music opens up a whole can of worms.
