I had a commission done for Plen, I just thought I'd share the result with the community.
I'm glad I'll always have this piece to remember where it all started, a big thank you to everyone who has shaped him along the way...
The artist is Carol Phillips, I discovered her work while I was doing research for the t-shirt web site and we have been working slowly over the last year to come up with something for Plen. I'm very happy with it :)

That's really cool! And its funny how you and Ozy were just talking about portraits the last time I saw you two in the same place!
How much did you pay for it by the way? Is there a place I can put in an order?

Yeah, I was thinking that exactly when Ozy and I were rping, thought it kinda humourous.
The amount you pay has a lot to do with reproduction rights, quotes started at $175., I opted for unlimited reproduction rights ( I need a nice cover for the "Chronicles" if they ever get done :) while at the same time allowing her to sell a limited set of prints. This cost me $400.00 for a 10"x18" print and mailed CD copy of the photoshop file, no guarantee any other project would be the same though, it may all depend on timing and demand.
I am most likely going to ask to do an oil next year, something involving an epic battle of sorts with familiar folk. We'll see :)

Man, that'd be great. Of course it's up to you, but I'd love to see the final battle with Bloodstone exhibited!

That's a lotta cash...like..Xbox360 Lot.

Hey thats absolutely fantastic. Well done.
I've often wondered what it would cost to get someone to illustrate your characters. I'd love to do one for my old char.
Cheers,

Ohhh very very nice! I remember you mentioned it some months ago, nice to see it in the flesh!

Very Awesome!
Thanks for sharing it with us!

I wish I had $400 dollars. I've always wanted a picture like that of a character of mine from a story I'm writing, but I never knew how to get it done. Great picture though, very nice.

I didn't know that Plenarius had long hair! *grins*
