guide issues+MORE

i cant view the guide, i assume that theres TONS of stuff that i'd be better off knowing, but i cant see it.  it opens up with adobe and i have the newest version of it.  

since i cant read it i guess ill have to try to learn myself through experience and asking players/GMs.  

how does crafting work in this game?  i read that it is not like the NWN standard using the craft weapon/armor/trap.  My first character i was planning on making would be a dwarven fighter and smith.  go TN alignment, have Dorand as my deity,  all i needed to do was just think of a background for him.  The crafting system in this is different so i would like to know how it works before i try to get him approved/created.  thanks.

You have to get Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view the guide.  You can get it from http://www.adobe.com/

I'll let someone else explain about the crafting because I don't do a whole lot of it.

you should be able to open it; I'm not sure why you can't unless you aren't giving it enough time to load (it's a fairly large file) or you don't have the latest version of Adobe.  As far as crafting, there's a beginners guide here in the forums located here:

Other than that, I suggest asking in-game to be directed to a more experienced smith who can show you the ropes.
