New Zealand vs. Italy

New Zealand ranked #78 and Italy ranked #5 in the world

Yet today NZL played Italy with poise not forcing anything and stayed strong the entire game and basically upset Italy with a 1-1 tie.

Love to see the underdog rise to the challenge!

Even the game announcers were rooting for New Zealand at the end.

Sadly I still see Italy winning their third match and making it out of group phase. That penalty was a big mistake from the referee though.

The aussies have had a bad run with ref's.  Two best players in two games red-carded for soft causes.

Regardless they're a sad team this time around.

Go NZ, our cross-tasman neighbours.  All that training in the paddocks dodging cow-pats and tackling sheep looks like it's paying off.

I tell you one thing though.  We should get half of these south american, european and african teams onto Layo.  If they act half as good as the BS they put out on the field we'd have some great Rpers online.
