Question about Wooden Spears

Do wooden spears only come in the hickory flavour? If so I just wanted to ask if there was any problem with druids using normal spears +1 and above?

If they come in hickory only I would be surprised as we had designed them to go all the way through yew. Let me know if you do not see those options by posting as a bug... they should go all the way through yew.
