Title: Elemental Resists and other resists?

Does elemental resists overwrite other kinds of resists? For example, I think I may have messed up Tane's K'halz's cloak. I put electrical II on it, and I think it erased the slashing resists 5/- ?

I'm pretty sure that when you apply an elemental resistance to an item that has some other resistance i.e. slashing, peircing, bludgening the elemental resistance overwrites the other resistance.  So you are correct. 

Guess you could ox wash it and hope it doesn't change the stats!
