Enchantments
« on: July 08, 2005, 10:02:00 am »
Noss asks all his friends,

Can a weapon and or armor have more than one enchantment?
Can I put a Silver enchantment on my iron warhammer that already has a lightning enchantment on it, without losing the lightning enchantment?

I was under the impression that if I enchanted the iron warhammer with lightning enchantment with a silver enchantment I would lose the lightning enchantment.

If more than one enchantment can be applied to a weapon and or armor, is there a limit to the number of enchantments?

I have heard a rumor that there is a weapon that is being used that has 4 enchantments on it, again a rumor, I have not actually seen this.

// please answer (IC) In Character ...

*Syn walks by and reads the note*

Your weapon can be enhanced with both an elemental enhancement and a Silver or Titanium coating.

Syn,

is it possible to have ... as a example ... a fire and lightning enchantment as well as a silver enchantment?

than a visual effect of acid on the same weapon?

It is only possible for you to enhance your weapon with a single type of elemental power, and then you must choose between either Silver or Titanium.

You can have any visual effect you wish, provided you apply the proper visual coating.

So in your case you must choose between fire or lightning for your weapon, and apply any visual coating you wish.

Mmm and how much would a fire enchantment cost? With and without ingredients, also what ingredients may one need?

The cost depends on the power of the enchantment.

There are four types of elemental enhancement rods, I (//adds +2 Damage to the weapon , II (adds 1d4 Dmg), III (adds 1d6 Dmg) and IV (adds 1d8 Dmg).

Prices are different from vendor to vendor, so you'll have to ask around, i'm afraid.
