No, it goes more like this.. You spend your time to teach them how to walk and talk. Jumping for joy smiling like a proud parent when they take that first step; feel it in the heart when they say Mommy or Daddy for the first time... then you jump ahead.. ohh maybe it'll hit in 2 years, 5 years, 10.. but gaurenteed it will hit. One day you'll be sitting there and ask yourself... Why??


Congratulations!.. Girls are so much fun. I'm glad everyone is fine and healthy.:)

 You and your family are in my thoughts daily, my friend. Times like these remind me how inadequate words are to express how happy I am for you. But a few years back, my wife and I received the gift of our first and only child, as you know. And I clearly recall holding my infant son just as you are there with Hannah. You and your wife are truly blessed and have a wonderful journey ahead of you.

Get a front pack to carry her in.  You need both hands to type.  She'll sleep snugly, listening to the beat of your heart.  If you can find one that can be turned inside out, you can face her forward when she's awake to be amused by the screen.
 
 When she can hold her head up well enough, a back pack is wonderful.  She'll be entertained for hours by looking over your shoulder.
