well seems my come back has pretty much been delayed untill late sept. moved away from my mom's house not too long ago to work at my dad's wiunery. i have to start paying for college myself and my dad pays well so... heh. as i don't really have nay way of getting on to play don't expect to see me till i'm at college. I'm gunna try to pop out two stories though over the just under a month i got. Both just detailing the time Tath has spent from society. about five years (i've calculated) back on Gionda and nwo the close to two years he's been spending out in the wilds.

Ok got thef irst part done. gotta DL the word file for now, as the forum wont let me copy and paste anything past the second paragraph. Someone wanna let me in on the secret of copy and pasting here? it shows up in the are and when i do preview it shwos up too, but then i save changes and bam, nothing.

Try to copy the word document in the editoer or wordpad first and than copy it into the forum. That should do it.

Office and Windows includes meta tag information when you copy and pastem as well as alternative versions for common characters eg the quote symbol ' .  These are what cause the problem with the forums. Copying the text into notepad, for example, may not remove all these alternative characters.

What works for me is to save my document from word as a *.txt file.  Select MS-DOS text file.  Also selection the option to allow character substitution.  This will replace all the alternative versions of characters with the common (old) ones.  

Next, open the document in Notepad.  Now copy from notepad and paste into the forum editor.

hey thanks Stragen for the Tips. i got all of the first part in now. i've decided to brake it up so that it's easier to take off if need be and come back to your spot =).
