No, Clarissa never had a "thing" for Arkolio except in his mind but she did hope that he would redeem himself and was amused by his persistence.
 
 And Raz is the only one that thinks it's a "date."  :)

Raz always prefers to believe his own reality.  

If you don't let anyone else crush it, then it is real!

Besides one could point out that (s)he said "it" clearly admitting that (s)he knows there is something. ;)

Once Clarissa finds out Raz is one of Toran's favored (In his own reality again,)  should be the start of a beautiful friendship.
