She was already informed of the unfortunate demise of Arkolio. She was sad that she would not have his irritating company on any more adventures but heartened to hear that he had become generous to the needy. She shed a secret tear that no one saw and said a prayer for his spirit.

Besides one could point out that (s)he said "it" clearly admitting that (s)he knows there is something. ;)

Once Clarissa finds out Raz is one of Toran's favored (In his own reality again,) should be the start of a beautiful friendship.
