Is it possable to get the glow from enchanted items removed. My character has dark vision and the glow makes it so that he can not see as far in the dark.

You could use the "ox-pack washing method" to remove the enchantment from a weapon entirely, however, this will also remove any other customizations you've made to the weapon and you'll have to recustomize it. As well it should be noted that should you intend to re-enchant said item, weapon enhancements of the 3rd or 4th power automatically give the weapon it's glow effects as part of the enchantment.

As far as I know it is hardcoded so it cannot be removed.

Well I think you are thinking about the light of said weapon. light dim blue light or so, don't think it vcan be removed at all.

There is a niftly little device in some less than savory places that will do the job you ask. I word or two dropped in game might help you find out where they keep it, or you may stumble upon it yourself someday.
