Yep! Huge and full of colour. Took just over two hours to get it done. How's that for a first timer!

In light of this recent admission...

Where did you get them done?

Way Cool Uptown

Awesome place, fantastic artists, crazy clean environment. Best body art parlor in Toronto. Same place I got my tongue pierced.

Oh!  Are all those who pre-order the MMO gonna get a Temporary Tattoo like those included with ther purchase?  That would be SO COOL!

Neat idea but highly unlikely, however you never know how things may turn out.

*shudders*  Insanity... definitely insanity...

This is coming from someone without even her ears pierced.

Give me art on a canvas that is not breathing at the time.

Though if they survive reasonable well they can always be tanned and hung for later generations to admire.

Gross minerva! And definitely insanity.

You should have gone with Old Blue. Red is very hard to remove.

Look at it this way, Lazer surgery is really advanced these days. It hardly leaves a mark

:P! That said, its a nicely done tattoo. I've been thinking about getting a Squishy on the small of my back.

Considering that's her sixth tattoo, I don't think removing it is even a remote thought. Getting inked tends to result in one of two states of being; regretful or addicted. My guess is that you're of the regretful category, if you even have any tattos that is. Not trying to be mean or condescending, just sharing my opinions and observations. Regardless of what camp one may be in, I can certainly say it takes guts to get even the first line drawn, nevermind an outline or following through to the completion of a tattoo.

Personally, I think I'm hooked.

Very nice. I always said I'd get tattoos when I got muscles so they'd look better, but then I discovered beer- the gut muscle.

Closest thing to body modification I ever went through was to *try* to have my septum pierced in 2000.  I say "try" because the guy attempting to do it was so incompetent at it that the needle was crooked twice in a row, and after that my nose was so swollen he said he couldn't do it until the swelling went down.  This was entirely a blunder on his part as I didn't even flinch during the procedure, he just was the worst piercer in all the lands.

He felt badly about it, so he offered to pierce my ears for free. (mostly to placate me into not suing him I suppose)  I accepted, having not learned my lesson, and noticed when I got home that one was placed higher up the lobe than the other...  I kept them for a year or two, but then just gor tired of having to take them out for work, so I just let them grow back shut.  Whenever they do that though, there's always a bit of meat up in the lobe that feels harder than the rest of it from the scar, feels like there's a bb pellet or something in there.  Same with my nose.  Moral of the story?  Prior to any body modification, make your tattoo/piercing artist submit to a breathalyzer/field sobriety test! :P

Glad you found a good artist!

Insanity and dedication are relative terms, and in some cases, have the sam definition.......

just wait until the logo droops several inches after 50 years...... :p

Uhhuh!
It's like many say, a tattoo is a skin condition that keeps on multiplying and growing ;)

Planning on getting my other hand tattooed as well, I am. And I have a wild thought about my back... hmm... :D

Sorry if that came across as judgemental. Each to their own on this topic. Although not for me, I thought it would be nice to have the option to remove it. That's all. Have fun with it.

It looks pretty darn cool I gotta say - (I got the real view).

It shows a pretty strong love to a facet of his life that he believes will always be something that stays with him.  I like to look at it as a skin timestamp more then a lifetime impression.  Layonara has already made him happy in many regards.  He even enjoyed watching me play Plen last night, just because he has been and will be a huge part of Layonara's history in many ways.

Sure its possible Layonara might not be with him until death in the same capacity, but the memory of where it is now has been laid upon him.

And a little bit insane...
