That time of the year again: Daylight Saving
« on: March 25, 2006, 06:42:18 am »
Hi,
It's that time of the year again, the switch to Daylight Savings. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen everywhere at the same time, Europe switches the last Sunday of March (so tomorrow), but most ofNorth America switches the first Sunday of April. (And to make things more confusing, in 2007, the US will change the second Sunday of March, long live standardization...).
So it's going to be that week again where people show up early, or arrive late for quests :) Next week, all will be well again!
For more info on when countries switch, go here: http://webexhibits.org/daylightsaving/b.html

Ah! DST... Love that! :)

(to be even more confusing, some countries use "double DST" and some haven't got it at all...)

Is it any wonder why we still fight wars? We can't even agree on time changes.

Why cant we all just get along?

Steps down off the soapbox.

heh heh actually my class (including me) are going to Turkey tomorrow with the physic and history teacher to see the solar eclipse, so our teachers have been quite peeking on us, to remember the time change so we dont arrive an hour later at the airport!

Zen - Don't you miss the fact that Hawaii does not observe Day Light Savings?
