It is a mad house out there, went to get a few presents (Great prices LOL my poor credit card).  It has taken my 5 to 6 hours to get home from 2 stores.   Note to myself never go shopping again after Thanksgiving.  No wonder they call it Black Friday.

Just got home myself. It was a bit crazy out there.  I do have to say Best Buy was the worst!  Couldn't move in that place.

Completely finished with one child..... two more to go.  What I wanted to get them is impossible to find in stores or online so I've got to come up with something else.

Oh, yeah baby.  I love it.  I fought the mall and I TOTALLY WON!  Errr...except they got a lot of my money.

Black Friday was good to me though :).

Heh,

That's why I give visa gift cards...my young nieces love to shop and it gives them a little pride when they feel they have their own credit card. Don't get me wrong, I get a few things for them as gifts but their eyes light up when they see the gift card.

Psst...they don't need to learn about Coach yet though...;)

Wow. You know what I did on Black Friday? I worked my minimum-wage job and continued praying I'd make rent. ;) I haven't bought clothes in... Two years? Yeah. About that.

Hopefully this JobCorps thing will help out. Next year!

Check out a warehouse for a well-paying, no-skills-required job. Most places will pay 12-12.50 starting out. If a warehouse is a no go, get a job at a factory. Depending on where you work, it will be about 9.50-14.50.

If you can, work for a private company. Anything that is publicly traded will pay you less, and look for every reason to fire you. Working for a private company means that will be a lot less likely to happen, and you will usually get paid more.

Working a min-wage job is hell, my friend, and you really don't have to settle for it. I never did. Sure, all of my jobs were horrible, but come Friday (pay day) it all didn't matter.

    Until Monday, that is.
