Ugh... the HTML wipe sort of ate this post so ill re-write it.

Post some fan art here! do it! do it now!

My case...
SO! I wanted some visuals for my new (not so new now) characters journal and thought I'd ask my best friend (And my future wife *cough cough* I wish^^) for some help, seeing as shes a very talented artist... She accepted (with joy!) and here are the results!

This is Sylene, a character from Tahletrils pass.. the scenery is a tower in Selrine overlooking the peaks of Voltrex and the emerald river... on the balcony theres a statue of Ilsare and yadda yadda. she pretty much took what I described her and made it into reality

This is the "sketch" (Yeah right) I drew for her (coupled by a detailed explanation of course)... Just imagine she turned this into that ^

That is some really impressive drawing. I've always hated myself for not being able to draw properly.

Nice to see some have the skills to do it nicely

Shes making another one :O

this time it's Sol'thas (my new cleric) being eaten by zombies : ) (Okay, not being eaten, but fighting them)

heres the sketch.
It doesn't look like much now (Sol'thas is just a sketch of a sketch so hes nothing like the real thing) and more zombies are being added... colored by hand, rather impressive I might add.

Heh glad you like it, passed on the message to the artist

Zombies nearly finished and shes starting Sol'thas tomorrow...
I think the only way this is going to relate to Layo and not dawn of the dead is the fact the character is going to wear a necklace with the symbol of Aeridin lol.

EDIT: my character is starting to take shape... (the outfit looks exactly like mine yay!)

The vision:

Well, I started explaining and forming ideas with her based on the character.
Being an Aeridinite we thought something related to undead would work best so heres the deal... Sol'thas is standing by a tree in a graveyard (no defined location) and fending off a horde of zombies (I -can- actually do that ingame, mind you) with a turn undead spell (Which will be coming out of his left hand, there will be a halo-sort of thing... (can't rush the artist, even though she loves me :rolleyes: ) The wraith behind him was added after I saw some dementors (Harry Potter ones) and thought "Ya... that'd be cool"... So I asked her and she sketched it behind him and there we are!.. it fits well with his story actually to have a wraith towering behind him.

The candelabra hes using (ingame too, same reason) is to contribute to the creepy feeling of undeadish stuff... it's also the only source of light other than the spell (which will be faint).

It's called... *drum roll* "The Aeridinite"... (I just made that up)

Shes doing one for each character of mine (God she rocks >:] )
Next on the list is Tahletril with his savage companion (cough) Tath... batteling some giants or ogres in Hammerbound mountains (in a wodsy area we made up) based on a journal entry in Tahls journal.

She started coloring my character weee... the wraiths head is still being redrawn (should look like the old one eventually) - check out the boots! exactly like what we have >
