My and Teo's poor town...
« on: June 11, 2012, 05:15:37 pm »
I'm really not a praying person... but this has me muttering prayers.

This fire is gutting the mountains near my town and is less than a mile from town. It is zero percent contained....

Yikes, take care and be safe. And remember that in a tight spot your hides are more important than material possessions, should it come to that.

Hopefully everything will work out! I really hope that rain will come and minimize damage done to peoples lives and to nature.

Thank you all for your good wishes. The fire blew back on itself yesterday slowing it down, so it's not headed right for town anymore. They said though that it might not be 100% put out until fall...
