    Cosmetic effects

Not lipstick so  much as the "loading area" pics.
Is there any way I can  control these? When  entering the High Forest it will show a dungeon, or a desert etc. Doesn't spoil anything, but affects moods.

You can add more, but that requires a hakpack and 2da.  Which loadscreen shows can be picked as an option on each map.

You can also edit the loadscreen help tips that show up. :)

True, but -having- loading screens in the first place I think really ruins the mood...

Still, as Green said, the loading screens can be edited to show only certain ones when entering certain areas. I merely think that the Layonara staff didn't deem it worthwhile to spend tons of time setting specific load screens for each of the 1000+ areas. ;)

Yeah to set load screens well, you need to know the file names of the screens you want the area to randomly pick between.  You cant just say "I want this area to load with forest looking screens," though that would be nice.

Precisely setting the loading screens on all the areas would take... a loong time and isnt really that important.

I think a lot of areas are somewhat customized as to which loading screens show, just sometimes you get one thats out of place that slipped in.

Personally I don't care what the load screen looks like. *shrugs*
