Title: porting stuff from multi to standalone

Was wondering how i can get the new heads, portraits, etc to appear in the standalone version of NWN.

it used to be  could copy the hak packs into it, now i dont see them anywhere

Well, if you are running Windows 10 and steam for Nwn and Layo, Steam puts the game files under your documents.  ...\Documents\Neverwinter Nights\hak as an example.

(As per the [Alias] section of "nwn.ini" in the ".\Documents\Neverwinter Nights" folder:)

Portrait files: ".\Documents\Neverwinter Nights\portraits"
Model files: ".\Documents\Neverwinter Nights\override"

The MDL files have to be extracted from the HAK file into the "override" folder.

Though ive been looking and cant find any o the files. Im using GOG galaxy and cant ind any of the haks or mods anywhere. I went thru all the documents\folders ....in the one drive and c drive. Any clue where any of the would be located otherwise?

Sorry, I assumed you had the hakpacks from a prior Layo installation.

Alas, nowadays, everything is locked up inside the SQLITE3 files in the ".\Documents\Neverwinter Nights\nwsync" folder.
