oak and mahogany tower shields

So I bought a hickory one. Can they be made of oak or mahogany and what skill(s) does it take. I have been asking around in game and no one can answer this one. Well one druid I know has a oak one but said it was traded for so dead end. Any help.

This has been reported once or twice already I believe.  The recipes aren't IG yet.  They will be as soon as possible, along with the wooden spear recipes.
