A Mithril Mining Trip (TM) is just another name for Soulmother's Soul Strand Slicing Service (TM).
As with all high end CNR stuff, few people knows the exact locations. Part of the fun to either:
(a) Explore and finds the places by yourself (dangerous!!).
(b) Find the people in question and rolls a high enough on persuade to make them tell!
