*sighs* Moved in to my new house and found there was a Dax on the Phone line which has made it impossible , for any phone company to supply me with Broadband or dial up .... After a week and half of complantes to the phone company they finally told me i can have a new l;ine put in  for my broadband ,

*Sighs even more* the only problem is it might take anouther 2 weeks for them to come and hook it up



There is one good thing though *chuckles* At the weekends i can use the mother in laws internet .... just need to install NWN

Who is your phone co. ?

I have DSL and only 1 line, they gave me adaptors and I can even get or receve phone calls while the DSL is active. If your doing dial-up see what the x-tra line +your ISP will be a month. DSL might be cheaper.

I would totally pay your phone bill for full Dax privelages.

BT is the phone company , and because it will cost them over £1000 or 50 man hours they wouldnt say which one , they wont rtemove it and from what theve said , no internet conection will run down that line and past that "DAX" ....

Dont ask me what one is i dont have a c;ue all i know is i need a new line after ringing oftel our sort of comsumer board for phones in the UK
