Actor-comedian Richard Pryor, who helped transform comedy with biting commentary on race and his own shortcomings, died on Saturday at age 65 after a long illness, his wife told CNN.
A great man of comedy may his spirit live on always.

A sad day for comedy to have lost such a great person...

May he rest in peace

Every comedian, black or otherwise since him owes him big time for the opportunities they have today. Peace Mr. Pryor.
