I started this top a couble of years back, and I think its that time agian to let people show their quickbars, how mad or good are you at quickbar upsetting type of stuff.

Casters are going to hate you for all the free quickslots you have to put non-essential stuff in. heh, a level 20 sorcerer (not even gonna get into a wizard!) cant fit all their spells into quickslots. And thats using EVERY SINGLE quickslot for spells hehe. Not to mention empowered, extended, quickened yadda yadda.
I'll take shots and put mine up tomorrow ;) (the casters will hate me too)
Theres some items I don't know in there.. what are shift+F2, shift+F3, and shift+F11?
and.. if some of those other things are what I think they are I'd like to make you an offer or two ;)
in conclusion, I'd like to point out that gotak has a girly dress (shift+F8) teehehe

Regular quickslots - evocation/enchanting
shift+ quickslots - spells that you need very quickly in some situations
ctrl+ quickslots - necromancy
The only free slot is where my sword used to be.
The situation with quickslots isn't that bad, I cast all of my buffs from the radial menu, it's really fast and gives lots of extra slots to play around.
Gotak are you using helmet of armor I?

I use the override for coloured icons available here (http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Other.Detail&id=1020) in case anyone's wondering. I think it helps for quick recognition...
My quickslot bar changes a lot, whether solo, with one person, two, three, twelve etc...

I just tried that out in a single player, I really like that feature, it helps a lot. Nice one :)

No...Its not a link, its like the picture is posted on this page, but its just one of those empty square things that shows that a picture is no longer at the location linked to.

PS I looked in your album....A wizard, cleric, bard or sorcerer would be mad at you for having empty quickslots ^_^

Come on people, you dont have to be level 56 to show your quickbar, you can be level 1 and new to the server or just level 10, its all about how you want us to see your quickbar. Now go do it!

Pfft. Yardislan has semi-empty quickslots. (I'd post the pic here, but my graphic program has been fighting with me lately) Semi-empty in that they're filled with spells, but they're spells I haven't prepared in ages and got used to them being there so they never got replaced. :D

I read that some of you use your radial menu to cast the buffing spells like shield or mage armor.
i just thought of an item from the 1 of the nwn, SoU and/or HotU campains. It's a cloak with the ability to store an amount of spells and when activated the cloak puts them all on the caster. not sure how it is called. Is that item also on layonara, or not?

Caldiir doesn't really need a whole lot of slots. No spells, and only a few items that he prefers to use quickly.

The robe has showed up once that i know of and was taken away from the player because of its power so its not in layo but kinda is.

What is that red-orange gem that I see on the first few characters bars? Rufus SHift-F6 for instance.

That's an ioun stone, I think it's spelled that way. Which reminds me, I should hold an auction soon.

Does saying "an ioun stone" sound wrong to anyone else? I know its correct by the spelling... but I pronounce it "wan" stone (wahn or like the name juan -spanish pronunciation) with which "a juan stone" sounds more correct.
and yes, this is a question of no real importance.

I suppose I'll join the publich flashing of quickslots aswell. I'm currently testing the mod orth posted so it's normally not as colourful as it's now. Whether the change will be permanent remains to be seen.

I really don’t understand how I initially organized my quick bars. To be honest only my loathing of change has prevented me from re-organizing them to be even more chaotic. However since level 16 I haven’t been bothered to update the spells organization. Thou the staff in F10 and the mirror in Ctrl F11 have been recent additions.

I wonder if I'm the only cleric that doesn't have turn undead slotted... or the only one with nothing but Heal spells slotted for healing.
It's funny... I tend to be front lining it... so cure critical and stuff just don't cut it. If something is damaging me so much that I require healing... It's going to take a lot to fix me back up, and will probably need a lot of it in one big drop.

What's on my bar? Lots and lots of buffs. One variety of damage spell, which I call Dorand's Furnace. My armor so I don't have to sift through my bags. And Ben. Oh, and Power attack and Imp Power attack of course. It's how I lay down big damage. That's about it. Heh. I'm pretty simple minded at what I do. But I do it really really good.

Not that Kali as an 8th level wizard has many spells, or much interesting really but I thought I'd enter into the spirt of things. So here we are!

As you can see Kali has few spells at the moment and so the spell slot issue isnt very important at the moment. This leaves lots of room for the many many different outfits all of my characters like to have (or more I do as a player!), this may go some way to explaining why Kali appears in a different dress every hour RL some days!
Also we have the 'Warning' custom macro there, thats to get all of the suicidal fighter types out of the way of the potentially scortching effects of area effect spells. I found nothing short of a full scale shout IN CAPITALS can keep some of the more 'head-strong' types charging in there, when us wizards like to have some fun every now and then too!
Finally the 'cast' action on a macro as Kali is fond of tricking Derv into thinking she is about to make him explode when really she isnt! ;-)
Thats about it!
Now I feel complete...I've been watching this thread grow for some time! :-)
