    Stupid question

    I've discovered that the play disc no longer has to be in the computer in order for me to play NWN.  Is this a feature of something I downloaded here, and I just didn't notice it in some list or other? If it is, I'm super-impressed because I was searching for years to find a no-disc patch.  If it isn't... what's going on?!

    I believe it was either one of the last five NWN patches, or possibly the release of Hordes of the Underdark, allowed play without use of disc.

    Been like that since patch 1.66. So for a while.
