You'll probably need to portal there, as there server will likely boot you otherwise, but if you have portalled, here's the IP:

    69.80.198.71:5121

Go to direct connect in gamespy and enter the IP, and that should do it. I'm also assuming you have all the haks, even the old ones, two of which apparently I don't have, since it won't let me log in. And those two aren't available to download except if you download the old all-in-one bundle, which by the time you're done downloading that, the point behind going to the planes server will be mostly if not all the way over, so I hope you have those old v2 files.

in teh internet listing on gamespy when you first see the listing pop up
at the bottom near the center of the console is the blinking direct connect button
          you can hit that
or scroll down until you find the server that is in red and lists layonara-planes server and click connect

Look for the button near bottom-center. (Bah... beaten to the instructions... Too many tabs open...)

Don't go through the actual GameSpy program.
Launch NWN, click Play, click Multiplayer, click Join Internet Game, and click Direct Connect and enter planes.layonara.com and the password. Doesn't get easier than that :)
And if you've never been on Planes, you'll get booted.

THanks Ed  that worked very well, i just wish you saw my post sooner.  at least next time i will know how to get on the server.

thank you too everyone who posted here too help me, many times gettn answeres in teh rest of forums and hand book are extreamly difficult at best. I seems too be written for someone who is already fimilar with the game set up and not a newbie.
