Yes it does - And it made a real difference to Karana. Well worth the lower AC (Platnum is +2AC, Adamantium only +1AC but with the DR)

Damage resistances stack if they are different types, though DR of the same type does not.  Hence, if you have some Basic Barbarian or Dwarven Defender all-inclusive DR, and you have some Johan Cloak bludgeoning DR, they will stack 1st.  The percentile damage immunity, like 5% slashing immunity will also stack with say /5 slashing DR, to give about 5 DR points and at least 1 point DR for the immunity.  If, however you have a /5 Bludgeoning DR from your cloak, and another item is like /10 bludgeoning DR, you only get the greater of the two, /10, as the higher one indicates the threshold.  Same goes for elemental protections, immunities and the like.

Does the Epic feat Damage reduction stack with Barbarian DR, or with the DD's DR? And does the DD's DR stack wth Barbarians DR?

Not certain.  I would think it would though since it's an all-purpose DR type, and that it's an add-on feat for people who generally already have DR from their classes.  Best way to check for sure is to run a defender through a level-up program, then test him on something, watching the battle-stats for how much damage is soaked before real damage is dealt.

I'm kinda countin on the epic DR, barb soak, and armor soak.  By the time Gunther gets all that though (assuming he doesnt perm), he'll probly have about 400 or more hp.

Maybe being a barb will finally pay off.

Please lemme know if you find out differently than the above.

The Epic Feats stack with the Barbarian and Dwarven Defender DR's.

Thats pretty sweet.  Of course Gunther's mind is as strong and furious as a year old sodden sponge.  I cant recall the last time he saved against a spell.

OK, revisting this post, anybody know if the barbarian soak stacks with item soak, such as the Watchers Belt (which I think is soak 5 up to +5 weapons)?

It does not stack with any [LORE]damage reduction[/LORE] (#/+# or #/-), but it will stack with [LORE]damage resistance[/LORE] (#/- vs bludgeoning/slashing/piercing).

So no, it won't stack with that belt, but it will stack with, say, the properties of the Swordsman's Belt.
