Alright, it seems most people agrees with this so we'll go ahead.
I've fleshed out and work on the charter a bit, taking into account a few remarks.

Below is the updated charter. I'll send it to Leanthar in the next few days for official approval. In the mean time, if you have any more comments, feel free to post below or PM me.
Next step should be a meeting of as many of us as possible (which might be tricky. It will be on a week-end and I'll post here and on the calendar). Also, we'll need to somehow gather 75k trues for the Guild creation fee.

 The Dwarven Army

 Leader:
Azk'a Thunderaxe (as the administrative leader, i.e. responsible for the guild and guild behavior towards the community and the Team. Not necessarily as the military leader in the field - see below)

 Members:
 Unther Hardhammer / Chazzler
 Garnet Orehammer / LightlyFrosted
 Beli Stonewill / Masterjack
 Yurax Proudaxe / Aerimor
Xian Shu (of the Tenker's) / Hellblazer
 Gunder Harbist / Dorax Windsmith
 Agmundr Nokkadrumbaer / Shiokara
 Rockhead Howling Wolf / zoogmunch
 Zigruum Frostbeard / willhoff
 Griff Silversand / davidhoff

 General alignment:
Any non-evil. From true neutral to lawful/good (excluding CN and all evil alignments)

 Deities:
None. All kin are welcome. The Dwarven Army is about Dwarfdom, not Deities. But followers of the evil deities needs not apply (mostly Corath, Pyrtechon and the Darkies gods, including Az'atta). This of course doesn't exclude deities relations RP. If a dwarf following Vorax meets another one following Mist, well you can expect some fun, but Azk'a will see that it doesn't go out of hands and that Kinship be held first before Deities.

 Race:
Members need to be dwarves (or raised by dwarves and such considered kin). Free associates, honorary members and/or temporary hired help can be of other races of course. Only restrictions to this are:
 - Dark Elves
 - Deep dwarves
 - Giants, Orcs, Ogres and Goblins (and those with such blood, i.e. Half- those)
These need not even think of coming near the army ;) , unless willing to be hammered, axed and/or kicked, punched to death.
Elves should be careful what they say and behave in a proper fashion (from a dwarven perspective/point of view).

 Location:
Bloody Gate (as a starter probably working out of the Inn and working towards getting a proper Guild House -- or buying the Inn), as long as it will not pose further threat to Bloody Gate (i.e. having Milara attacks seeing it as a build up of forces -- if this is the case, we'll look for another fitting HQ).

 Organization:
The military structure will be kept to a minimum. It will be more like a mercenary band than a truly organized army. Their will be a designated leader (not necessarily Azk'a) each time The Dwarven Army is called upon -- or they decide to go out on a giant killing rampage (or whatever they decide to do). It won't have to be always the same dwarf though. The leader will act as the spoke dwarf in case it is needed and will decide of strategy and tactics (if anything more than DDC is needed). But each and every dwarves will be expected to fight as one.

 Goals:
Helping kin throughout the world (Bloody Gate, Ulgrid Kingdom, Lyn, The Runic Anvil, etc...). It will be, as the name suggest, an army of dwarves available for help against the forces of evil (or maybe not so evil) arrayed against the dwarves and the dwarven kingdoms.
 What it will not be:
 - a merchant guild
 - a crafting guild (if a members needs special crafting materials, the army will help of course)
The purpose of the Army is mostly to gather the dwarves together and have fun Rp'ing what dwarves are (raucous heavy drinkers, as ready to get into a tavern brawl as to stand side by side to help each others).

 History:
The first Dwarven Army was created by Unther Hardhammer, gathering around him kin and friends to offer their services, be it for gathering resources or escorting people in dangerous dungeons or caves. Always accomplishing those services with the utmost dedication and diligence, sometimes bringing the ordered ore even before the order was made, The Army gained respect and fame throughout Layonara.
Azk'a Thunderaxe, one of the members of that "army" had some experience in a "real" army (Hlint Circus as he calls it). Seeing the advantages (and some disadvantages too... mostly the uniform and the lack of good ales) of an organized group, discussed the matter with Unther Hardhammer and together they decided it was time to cement the loose group of dwarves into something worthy of being called an army. A group able to form a shield-wall, able to fight as one if the occasion arise. A group that will fight to defend what Dwarves stand for... Honour, Bravery, Courage, Stubbornness and the love of Ales and fights.
So a called was issued to all kin known to Azk'a and Unther. The first meeting will be/was held in the Wild Surge in Hlint (famous for its "dwarven parties"), were after formal presentation of all kin present, kegs of ale were brought and yet another dwarven party began (i.e. arm wrestling, head-butting, drinking and ox throwing contests). After the ox ran away, the dwarves decided to head for Bloody Gate. There, all those willing to commit themselves to The Army took an oath and pledged themselves as defenders of all dwarves.

Quote

Our shields will be a wall
Our axe 'n hammers will deal death
With them we shall defend kin
With them we shall fight for kin
 None shall pass our line
 None shall survive our wrath
 For together we stand
 We are The Dwarven Army.

From this day forth, the dwarves around Layonara can count not only on their own strength, but also on The Dwarven Army.

//While we wait for our own forum...

here's what I envisioned as the Army Barrack.

There are two areas in the module, both are based on the same floorplan.

Please let me know (in PM please so I can keep track easily):

Which of the two you prefer ?
If there are modification to be made ?
If the lighting and ambience is alright ?
 Any comments you have.

When we all mostly agree, I'll send the .erf to the team for pricing and let you know.

 Cheers. //

 //Please see here

EDIT: Please see The Dwarven Army Forum

//it's a .Zip archive. You need to unzip it. You'll then get a folder containing the .mod. Put the "guild" file into you mod folder and play it in NWN single player
