    In time I want to make a elf character and I was just wondering how to get the a's with the ' above it

       There is alt+number combinations that will do this as well. Dont have the list close by.
        You could also copy these characters from your character map which could be found under programs, accesories, system tools.
        But the fancy keyboard is much easier....*grins at freemen*
