I am posting this to let everyone know that our family will be leaving the current version of Layonara. We are in the process of making some major transitions in our lives (retirement, starting college, moving to a new state, starting a farm, and more) With all of the changes in the near future we have decided to focus our attention on getting our new real lives established and in balance before we fill up all of our spare time with Layo. We are all true addicts in the best sense of the word and have thoroughly enjoyed the last few years we have been able to play here. Great job to all of the players and L and the team for providing something unique in online gaming! We are very much looking forward to the new version of Layo and hopefully by the time that comes out we will have everything in order and be able to make a good decision about when to get back into the game and at what level of commitment. You may see a couple of us around for a few days to take care of some last minute issues and we will stil be around on the forums from time to time so feel free to PM us and if any of us owe anyone money or anything please let us know so we don't stiff anyone by our absence.

I would miss you as a result of this, the whole group that is, but I got banned before you were leaving due to other reasons so I missed you beforehand. You're a great bunch of people and good luck in all future endeavors.

Take care you guys and thanks for all your support, it really meant a lot. We're losing quite a few top notch characters that will be sadly missed but not forgotten. More importantly, we'll miss you folks. Good luck with the future and stop by to see how we're doing!

Good luck to you all - I'm sure there are few on the server who haven't met at least one of your characters. We'll keep a seat open, just in case you find yourselves with some spare time once you've got your lives resettled. :)
And keep an eye on the forums! Otherwise, you'll miss out on fun things like Never Split the Party (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waa2ucfgVgQ)!

Take care folks. Best of luck on the move and congrats on the retirement from the military and being able to make this big (and cool) move. Thanks for all of the good times and all of the support on all levels.

Well on one hand I am very happy for everyone, a new adventure in life. A fresh start. Well You all know what I mean (Peanut, Clarissa, Rose). You three keeped me from ending Q and leaving Layo and I must thank you for that. It was great, and I can not thank you enough for that.
I am sad. I know you will all be back. So I look foward to that day. Look me up when you get back on. I am the one playing the big bad softy. Q will really miss Peaut (one of the best rper's of all times and what can I say I fall for those), and his personal protector Clarissa, and not the least his angle that always seams to cast Heal right before Q dies, Rose, What can I say Kalin who else is going to come out of know were and help me get my soul stones back.

Thanks for being part of the number of people keeping many of my plots alive and real well beyond the actual events, making this a world beyond the individual game. I look forward to hearing from your PCs in the future, and of course the forums will always be there.
As for RL wow :) Interesting times ahead....maybe a little scary too but surely fun and interesting, thanks for sharing the moment.

I only made Clarissa a girl because the male players out there fall all over themselves to give stuff to the female characters. ;) That and because at the time I was trying to be anonymous and I thought it would be a better disguise. No reason for anyone to feel weird or anything. She was my first and last female character (probably :)) I had a lot of fun trying to keep Arkolio at bay.

I am still disappointed that Clarissa never wanted to go on that picnic with Storold, he didn't have any evil plans for it or anything ;)
On a more serious note, it is a lovely house and I am sure you will have many happy years there. Please keep dropping by with news and making comments on the forum :) I really look forward to seeing you IG if you have time for a bit of play in the future
