Hello Everybody,
I am very happy to announce that the module created by the Single Player Module Team (Towers of Dregar: Xora's Vial) is up for nomination for Module of the Year (for 2007) at NwVault. The team worked many long and hard hours on the project and their efforts have been very much rewarded in both the score and the number of downloads the module has received as well as it now being nominated for Module of the Year for 2007.
Voting begins on March 1st so please vote on the module. This would help to further enhance and grow the Layonara community if we were to receive the award. It would also help even if we get many votes and do not win (but we will win if everybody votes!! *smiles*). This is a golden opportunity to download the module, play it, and then vote for it. It could bring us many more quality members to the community and they would tend to be RP type members due to the module itself being heavy on RP.
Get out there and vote, we need every vote we can get!

I want to say thank you once again to the team that created this excellent module, good job folks.

This is fantastic news and I'd also like to thank everyone that put such big effort into it. It's a good module and definitely has my vote.
-
*sighs* if only I could figure out who was the murderer.
Congrats team.
-
outscooped by an hour
vote is waiting as soon as the polls open
-
Been playing it since last week - incredible writing, engaging plots, but I'm stuck on two :). I'll post that in the proper forum though!
Overall, so far, great work guys!

Voting for this has moved to start on March 3rd:

Please don't forget to vote when the polls open!

Hi folks,
Today is the day to go vote for this module. It would be a HUGE benefit to the community if we are able to pull off first place. It will bring a flood of players in and most of them would likely be RP'ers. Please take a few minutes to vote for this excellent module.
Thank you.

It doesn't look like voting has started yet, as you can only rate on the standard module ratings, not a separate poll/system.
And it wouldn't make sense if they continue with the ratings that got us nominated, it'd have to start from scratch.
-
if we get everyone to vote on the poll or not then we will get hall of fame status which will help too
we have the required downloads but we need more votes people to qualify for mod of the year and hall of fame
-
We already qualify for mod of the year ;) You don't need to be hall of fame to be module of the year.
-
no i know that but i was reading a bit and most are saying hall of fame is important for some reason
-
Hall of Fame would be important I do believe, perhaps not critical but it most certainly wouldn't hurt. :)
-
Can anyone explain to me how I am supposed to vote? I ended up voting for the module as per the normal vote, but I can't find any poll.
Or did they postpone the voting?
-
I do not think they opened up the voting yet.
If you check the "front page" of the website, and click on Module of the year, it only leads to a link for the list, not voting.

Voting is open Now!!! Neverwinter News, Trailers, Screenshots, Previews, Reviews, Guides -- Neverwinter Nights 2 Vault (http://nwvault.ign.com/)
On the front page of the vault you'll see The module of the year logo on the bottom where you can click and then vote.
I just noticed as well that your vote will count if your login name was registered before Feb 1st 2008.

-
shiff did you vote on the top part of the page and save it or just the mod page

since this may be confusing
dont go to the mod description page to vote
you will see a white and grey listing of which you choose the mod and then click save
this votes for mod of the year
-
Both ;)
-
I voted, but I dont think it counts, since only accounts created on or before 1st of February seem to tally up.
-
Voted :P
-
Keep the votes coming, thanks folks!!
-
Keep the votes coming folks. We are in the lead with 17 votes but just barely in the lead. We need votes. :)
Thanks.
-
Voted!
-
ok we are now down in second place by one vote
everyone who is a member of the vault before feb 1st, meaning everyone who downloaded clientside goodies, needs to get out and vote for the teams efforts people
if you have colored spells icons
or open hands
or the super portrait packs
or extra voice sets
take the time to go to the link and vote
it only takes a minute and shows how much we love what the team has built for those not here with us already to give a sample of layo
-
as of 241 edt we are down by four votes in second place
and yes im well aware everything i write is being posted on the bioware forum showing im a cheerleader to get our registered people to the links and vote
and its also been pointed out from other comments im not doing anything against the vault rules, therefore ill continue to cheerlead and urge our registered people to vote
and to make our doubters happy, if you havent played the mod since it was finished and live , please take the time to do so before you vote
L if you want me to cease my cheerleading, simply say the word and ill do so
until then those who like to copy and paste, im going to give you many more pages worth to copy in the next months time, but im glad you like our forums so much, that maybe you should submit a character and find out why we love layo so much!
-
People that have played the module should vote, those that haven't should not vote. That is the right thing to do.
As for people posting on the vault, I have no idea as I don't go there very often and I don't read their forums; and I don't really care to. I am not surprised that is happening though.
-
cheerleader time again
if you have all the little fun things from the vault and even if you dont go dl the mod and play it so you can vote if your eligible for mod of the year and you can vote in general if your not eligible
voting time is now
as of right now we are behind by 7 votes for mod of the year so renew your knowledge of xoras vial and get out there and cast your vote
-
down by 8 votes
if your playing dont forget to vote after your done
-
still down by 8 votes folks
but now we have slipped to third place
the mod teams work is much better then a silver award so lets get off our butts and finish playing so we can vote vote vote
they say we have shot our bolt and wont get any more votes
lets prove them wrong
-
This was one of those mods that gives you the thoughts "Why wasn't this on the original campaign?" and the classic "I never knew NWN could be so cool"
Thanks to everyone involved in the process of creation of this masterpiece.
It was so good to see the amount of information you find about layonara with books and NPCs, and as a regular player this was major to me, I learned so much. Corax Lake = WOW!
Great stories. I played and voted, and I can only hope to download another mod that will be near as good as this one was for me..
Sorry for my little "review", kinda off-topic maybe?
Thanks again.
