Vampiric regeneration

If vampiric regeneration is added to an item such as boots/belt/cloak/bracers instead of a weapon would the character still gain the regeneration in battle?

thanks Drac

No. Vampiric regeneration is to be added to weapons, and regains the weilder hitpoints when the weapon strikes.

Its the Troll Ear that can be added to items to gain regeneration over time effects.

Hm, would about say to just drop the regeneration part of the name and just call it vampiric.

The reason it only applies to weapons is simply that when your weapon "bite" into the enemy... they lose some of blood... and the wilder gains some health. So congregation... you are now a vampire... er well... your weapon is at least.

Hm, perhaps not something an undead slayer should use... or even be used around an undead slayer... least they start thinking you are a vampire... and hunt you down for all eternity... or at least hunt down your weapon and destroy it.

It's not really blood. It drains their vitality into you. Negative and positive energy, you know.

One a side note, while the description will say it adds hp per hit of the weapon, then its only apply it once per 6 seconds meaning you only get the bonus 1 time per round, regardless of number of attacks and hits during the round.
