Hey GM team and players,
Just wanted to let everyone know I love the RP world here and would spend much more time in Layo if I possibly could. Trouble is, I received orders to deploy to Iraq for one year and will be leaving the beginning of January '08. I'll be taking my laptop (which has NWN and Layo haks of course!) overseas with me, but I have no idea if I'll be able to login and play during my time there.
So if you don't see Vendar following you around with his trusty quill and parchment, he is on an extended quest for Knowledge in unexplored lands and hopes to return next year. It's been great playing with you all.

Yet to run into Vendar, but I do hope you return safe and sound. Layo will be here when you return, or find the random internet access on the other side of the globe.

*grins* Seriously, Vendar, you're a lot of fun to RP with. Here's hoping that a base camp or two have broadband. One of my school friends is working out there setting up IT stuff, so hopefully he's near you.

Just thought I'd take a moment to write a quick post. It's been a busy last few months, training in TX for deployment to Iraq. Internet here is almost non-existent due to the training area we're in, but I wanted to let everyone know Vendar is alive and well and looking forward to coming back to Layonara as soon as he can find enough bandwidth to jump into.

Hello again Layo-mates! I'm finally settled in a bit overseas and thought I'd try logging in. The internet here is a bit spotty (wireless access only), but thought I might be able to roam around my old stomping grounds again. Look for Vendar to show up, he'd like to say hi to everyone.
