Pen N Popper - 2/14/2006 8:13 PMMy opinion: The only solution is to name your PC with your fake name at creation. After that, people will learn your real name through RP only.Another PW I visited strictly enforced that PCs be named with descriptions only, no names (eg. a dark skinned elf). That way, all names had to be learned through RP.
Dorganath - 2/14/2006 11:56 AM Yeah..no one is wearing a "Hello, my name is: ______________" sticker on their shirts. As a GM it can be extra frustrating, because there are only so many models we can use. Label reading = bad.
typically_annoying - 2/14/2006 4:04 PMNot a bad idea, but a lot of people do RP it properly. There are a few characters (or were) that introduce themselves with different names. I think it adds to the RP, knowing that they are hiding something and you have to pretend you dont know who there are.
Weeblie - 2/15/2006 11:03 AMA general hint is to write down all names your character knows.
