Hmm I haven't a clue if this fits in this forum but...
« on: March 26, 2006, 09:54:34 am »
First off hello!
I've recently (a few hours ago  :o ) bought Neverwinter Nights Platinum...
I was all happy and stuff and started the install until it came to the second disc swamp..
I switch the disc and the computer gets stuck  :(
I tried a few times, I tried cleaning the disc... nothing...
I went and checked the disc on my mothers PC and it's fine...
The other three discs are fine (That's 1/3/4)

any idea what might be wrong?  :(

Turn off any/all virus protections. McAfee intefers with some of my installs.

I did that and it still didn't work...
It's enough for me to insert the second disc to my CD drive and the whole PC freezes until I remove it, it works fine on my moms computer :x

Well the problem seems to be with the DVD drive itself..
I burned the CD and the burned version seems to work fine :o

    Yeah it was weird x.x
I've had the game before (a year ago) but sold it and never had problems with my old copy...

Anyhow, good thing it's working now or I'd burn the local church :)
    Yay!

certainly so, though, "witch hunters" were an actual part of medieval churches, even on into the split separating catholics and protestants.  so when I see "witch hunter,"  that's what I think of.  perhaps if you were to state it the other way around- Hunter Witch- it would come across more like what you suggest, a witch that is a hunter.  But it just doesn't have the nice ring to it that Witch Hunter does.  :P
