Hi - yesterday I submitted my first Layonara character for approval (Sally Brambleleaf, a female halfling rogue / fighter, see here: http://www.layonaraonline.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=18559&posts=1), so as I'm hoping to join the Layonara community soon (hope my approval goes through quickly - would like to play this evening if possible), I thought I would say a quick "hello!" here, though I hope to meet many of you in Layonara itself soon. BTW does anyone have any tips on which places a newbie should check out first? Thanks

Hi - I've played for a few hours tonight, managed to get killed twice alreadt - first by some Elf rangers East of Hlint (I was trying to get to the rolling hills to get some gum to make some sandpaper) once by a skunk of all things (whilst gathering wood)!

Sally should be around in Hlint tomorrow night for an hour or two (probably around 9 or 10pm GMT - I'm in the UK), will you be using Ditex?

Remember, you play Layonara through my computer, and I don't remember you asking me if you can go on tommorow aye?
I said Tuesday and Friday, and even then you've got 3 hours spreading over the two days.
I wouldn't make prior arrangements just yet..aye?

Oi Bryantiza ye crazy givin someone yer comp! Gah. I have three signs saying *do not enter - severe addict inside¨* in front of me room. I also boarded up the window to block that nasty sunlight out and am considering a microwave and a coffemachine in here... So I can stay on 24/7...

He breaks into my house in the middle of the night and it takes me an hour just to get him out of the door again. takes another 30 minutes for the police to arrive, an hour and a half later.

don't trust the man,
ye should never trust a man that spells know as no.
his a thief i tell ye!! a theif!!)

p.s. only joking..but ye can phone the police on him if you want. i'll support what ever accusation you think up.

Same advice as always to new players:  Spend the first week (RL week) to two weeks just wandering around hlint and talking to everyone you possibly can and observing the other interactions.
