I read under summons that Roflien lets you summon guardians and protectors, but they are not a standard creature as far as a know.  What are they?

They are custom compared to normal game creatures.  And its Rofirein....they summon shields that are good targets for the enemy while you can attack them.

Go here: http://www.layonaraonline.com/downloads.asp and download the campaign handbook. There are 356 pages of info there.

Would you believe I already have.  I couldn't find it in there though.  Thanks for the help.

There is no precise description of the summon creatures and their stats/abilities available outside of game at this time.

They are shields. Most have high and in some cases very high damage reduction in exchange they have no real attacks other than a basic shield bash (punch) and no real protection from elements since they are basically metal shields things like fire will melt them and so on.

Against things that do physical damage they are excelent targets while you make an escape or whatever. Wanted to let them do something like half the damage you took went to them... but it was going to be too system stressy to do code wise. So we never did it.

They are still cool though.
