Who says Texas ain't its own country? We can fly our flag just as high as any of you other countries can, so there.  

(In truth, because Texas is the only state that was once recognized by the U.S., and other countries, as a sovereign nation, Texas is the only state within the U.S. that can fly it's flag at the same height as the U.S. flag.  Yeehaw.)
