Xora's Vial Mod Missing
« on: August 29, 2008, 01:52:29 pm »
I went to download the LSPM, and after unpacking the download, found that there was no .mod file in the package.  Any help?

Thats odd.  From this website, or the one on the vault?

You can download from the one on the vault.  I'm certain that one is the most updated.  I'm unsure if the one here was ever updated after the final version, to be honest.... (meant to bring that up too!)

I tried to download it from here first.  I will try the vault now.

So after you unpack it, what files are there?  I'm pretty sure whats happened is some program has associated .mod with another application (usually a multimedia application) and it's not showing the file extension.

Code: [Select]
Extracting from ToDXorasVialv1_1.rar

Extracting  AID Users Guide - v2.6.pdf                                OK
Extracting  ToD Xoras Vial Readme 1.1.txt                             OK
Extracting  ToD Xoras Vial v1.1.mod                                   OK

That sounds like it could be right.  I am getting a file titled ToD Xora's Vial v1.1 as an mpeg.  I tried to open that and I was told I did not have the right codecs.

Nah, you don't play the game by clicking the file, read the readme file for more information on installation.  You need to move that file into nwn/modules, then the game will show up when you startup nwn in singleplayer.
