Mahogany and Yew Hunters

(1/1)

jrizz:
So how about Mahogany and Yew hunter bows?
Mahogany Hunter +2 Attack, +3 Hide & Search (Usable by Rangers only) (Level 12)
Craftable starting at 12 level (woodwork)
Yew Hunter +3 Attack, +3 Hide & Search (Usable by Rangers only) (Level 16)
Craftable starting at 16 level (woodwork)

Filatus:

EDIT: Right.. didn't even type anything before I send, I'm GMT so the reason is obvious.

Anyway, I think it's a goood suggestoin, but what extra components  would be needed to get those extra skill improvements?

aragwen:
Oak Hunter's Bow has no additional components above an oak longbow.
But only a ranger can use and craft it and the level requirement is 3 levels higher than oak longbow (I think).
A ranger should have access to many other items that improves hiding and sneaking by the time he gets to the lvl to use mahogany or yew. So not sure it is really needed.
But I guess it would be nice even though I would prefer compound bow to a hunter bow.

jrizz:
maybe it is the type of wood that dictates the skills that it supplements. The ranger crafter brings out of the wood innate energies. For oak it is hide and move for mahogany it could be hide and listen or spot and listen, for yew some other class skills.
