Title: Extended Bonus event -- Dec. 20th - Jan. 5th

As mentioned last week, we're holding an extended bonus event over the holidays starting this Friday evening (CST/GMT -6:00) and lasting until Sunday, January 5th 2014.There will also be an added surprise that I'm not mentioning. The first person who figures it out and sends me a PM with actual reasoning and/or evidence (no random/speculative guessing, please) will gain an additional bonus for the duration.

This bonus event is now in effect!

• Bonus XP
• Bonus gold
• Bonus Fortune
• ...and a surprise!

As I said before, the first person who rightly* discovers what it is and sends me a PM** will win an additional bonus for the duration of the event. 

This event will end sometime on Sunday, January 5th, 2014.

* No random guessing, please. I have ways of knowing if your answer is genuine
** I won't be accepting answers given on IRC or any other medium.  Forum PM is the only acceptable way.

Since good things come to an end, this bonus event has now concluded.  XP, GP and Fortune are now back to normal levels.

I hope everyone enjoyed it, but don't let it be the only excuse for playing more than normal!

Oh and for those who may still be curious about the surprise, the Soul Mother was effectively disabled for the whole of the bonus event. This was an OOC change; there was no IC event or meaning to this.  It was just as I said...a surprise, and I guess an extra gift to everyone.

Thanks so much for running this!  I noticed an increase in server activity and had more party time as a result.....good times!
